Open your ears and hearts for a small and simple folk song. Polly Barrett from Cork, Ireland (home of The Butterfly Graveyard) recently released her debut album and the title track “Mr. Bookshop” got me in seconds.
Compare it to Suzanne Vega or Joni Mitchell if you like. One might even say that it has a certain Norah Jones-touch. Grown up songwriter-pop by a young lady. Not only for book lovers.
