Lambchop - Gone wrestling

Lambchop are going to have a busy 2012. The new record “Mr. M” is about to be released on Feb. 24th and at the moment Kurt Wagner and his band are on a tour in Europe that will last untill April. On top of that there is a new video for the almost uplifting “Gone Tomorrow”.

The video shows an interesting combination of typical american images of professional wrestling and the modern Americana sound, that the band refined over the last years. Shot on film instead of digital sources, director Zack Spiger and his clip take the viewer to a world of sleazy locker rooms, blood, sweat and flash light.

The Singer/Songwriter Cortney Tidwell and Lambchop’s Kurt Wagner teamed up to form KORT. It seems that two musically soulmates found each other. With “Pickin’ Wild Mountain Berries” the duo keeps the memories alive of what honest country music used to be. In autumn of 2010 KORT released an album where they only recorded new versions of songs from the 60’s and 70’s. These tunes were originally released by Chart Records, a Nashville-based label run by Tidwells Grandfather.
