This is for the girls. If you believe the british music press, this young singer/songwriter/performer will soon become something like the next Kate Nash. Emmy The Great is going to release her second album “Virtue” in november and the chances are good that she might get some radio airplay.
This is well done, british emotional pop music with a mainstream appeal, but not to cheesy. Compare it to Agnes Obel and the like. A record that you can give to the not-nerdy friends of yours as a present.
